1. Editing menus in customizer
The changes where met with heavy resistance by come of the very notable members of the community. It would be really interesting to see how the core team will evolve the customizers for the next versions.
2. Adding site icon or favicon
Favicon is the small icon that is seen before your Site’s name in your web browsers. In the past , the users have to use some custom plugins , uploading the favicon to root directory of your host or adding a tag to HTML head ,etc for adding the favicon to the website.
But this time WordPress 4.3 will allow you to upload your site’s favicon from the wordpress admin area. The steps are simple just visit Settings » General and upload an image for your site icon. WordPress 4.3 will also allow you to crop the image and will also show the live preview of how it looks in the modern web browsers and as mobile icon.
3. Better Passwords
In WordPress 4.3 you will be introduced to new a users interface for password reset screen.It will automatically fill in a new password field with a strong password.
There’s also change in adding new user. When you add a new user, WordPress will now send them a password reset link instead of pre-selected password. During this process you will also have a option to click the show password button and add a password for the new user. Here also wordpress will show a sstrong password auto-filled when you click on the show passs button.
4. Editor Improvements
Many of us spend most of the time writing posts on our wordpress blog Or website. You might have noticed that when you move your mouse for formatting buttons it slow down your writing.
In WordPress 4.3, the wordpress team is Gonna introduce inline text shortcuts. Below are some examples of Inline text shortcuts
- Using * or – will start an unordered list.
- Using 1. will start an ordered list.
- Using # will transform into h1. ## for h2, ### for h3 and so on.
- Using > will transform into blockquote.
